Naked vlogging?

I will be making a naked vlog tomorrow for the naked vlog "campaign". Wait... NO I'M NOT. And why do they call it a campaign? What exactly are you campaigning? Attention?
Seriously people. Think about it. What is the point of naked vlogging? If this person, whoever the person is that started this, never started this and someone was to vlog naked, what would you think? You would probably think they just wanted attention, right? So why is it suddenly acceptable just because some of the more "popular" people on youtube are doing it?

Sick??

I kind of feel ill. Ugh. But being me, I have to spend this time on the computer. BUT luckily since this IS a laptop, I can still lie on this here bed here here. I don't know why I'm talking so weird. Well not so much talking more of just typing weird. Ahh. Anyways, I hope it wasn't the fact that my mom and I shared one of these:
Well she hasn't eaten her half yet but I ate mine. I don't know why it would make me sick but you never know, right? Ugh I have a headache. And now thinking about eating that is making me feel kind of weird.
Now I am just waiting for Isaac to get online so I can complain about how I don't feel well. I have been such a complainer lately. Ahhhh nah I will try not to.

In this search for a job I just don't know what to do. I just need some little simple thing. It can be in retail I just don't want to have to try to push some store credit card or something so that narrows down a bunch of places I don't want to work. It seems as though all the coolest places to work are little shops they aren't hiring. Lucky betches. I want to work in a little weird record store or something. I think that would be cool. Maybe not? How would I know? I don't. But I have bad judgment. I thought Toys R Us would have been cool. It's not like I was expecting to play with toys there but I thought that the environment would make people there happier and funner to be around but it seems to do the opposite. Save your soul and don't work there. Because of Toys R Sucks, I am assuming that every store would be absolute hell to work in. It's funny because I thought that over time I would get used to it and it would just seem like part of my life - going to work at TRU - but really every day I went to work there it felt like my first day and like everyone was stressed about everything. It just sucked the life out of me, I felt. The days I had off were spent thinking about how I would have to go back to work the next day and wander around the store aimlessly trying to avoid management because even if I WAS doing everything right AND with a smile on my face, I was just glared at or yelled at on the headset walkie talkie things. Maybe there were a couple fun or just not so horrible times but I hardly remember them in the mess of the crap. The day and couple weeks after quitting were the best days I had in many months, I believe. It's possible that I made the experience worse by not looking on the bright side of things or at least talking to more co workers, but I really did talk to some of them and found plenty to be nice but MOST of the nice ones broke down and quit soon after starting. Hmm.

I don't like fish.

I hate shopping for clothes. T-shirts are easy to shop for. Everything else? Not so much. At least when you're a 5'2" or something chubby chick. I'm not tall or big enough for plus sizes but not small enough for the other clothes. I already know juniors clothing, though I like some, is not a good place to shop if you have any thighs or hips because all pants are for curveless girls. And as for shirts, don't expect to get a cute nice top if you have boobs because they are all too small in the boobie section. And then if I go to any other section, like for "petite" or "misses" or whatever all those other sections are, the clothes are almost too mature and big and hell just most look like shit. I just want nice clothes. Not expensive, but nice. I am sick of t-shirts and jeans all the time. Sorry this is just stressing me out.
I went out today with my mom because I need to get a job and don't have anything nice to wear to interviews. So we were out for HOURS and I FINALLY found 1 shirt. ONE FREAKING TOP. I mean, it's a pretty good one and it was on sale but to go out for HOURS and have it be the ONLY thing that worked? We went from store to store and from section to section, some sections we went back to more than once.
I want candy.



I had a dentist appointment today, just for a regular cleaning thing. I hadn't gone in about 2 years (oops) and I was so afraid to go! Normally when I went it would seem as though they would find something bad about my teeth (like the start of a cavity) because I have pretty "groovy" teeth. Not wicked cool teeth but there are a lot of grooves in my back choppers. So yeah, stuff would get stuck back there. But I have had pretty much all of them filled so they aren't as groovy and this time at the dentist they just said my teeth were looking excellent.
Yay!
But I still don't like going to the dentist. I don't like them poking and scraping at my teeth and gums. And I don't like that gritty stuff they put all over your teeth. I don't know what it is. And I just feel uncomfortable lying there with my mouth wide open.
They make you wear funny sunglasses at mine. To protect your eyes from the light they shine in your face.

Anxiety attacks are exhausting.

I just wish I could hide and paint. I know it sounds cheesy and like the typical "wannabe artist"... but I AM a typical wannabe artist, I'm sure.
But that's not the point. I really do have the urge to just hide in this room and paint a whole bunch of stuff. Not care about anything else I may have to do or care about making a mess with the paint.
It's not as though I believe I'm an amazing artist... I JUST LIKE TO PAINT AND WANT TO DO IT NOW! I WANT A GOLDEN EGG NOW!

Going green?

First off, I got the adapter for my laptop so I can use it again, yay!

Second I was just wondering something about this going green thing. Ok it's great and all and it's good that so many companies and people are into it... but how many of these celebrities (and/or just regular people) that walk around in shirts saying "SAVE THE EARTH, GO GREEN" or whatever REALLY care? How many of them actually do something about this other than just buying clothing or saying some phrase? I see so many people that promote going green but they hardly mention what they are doing to do their part. Do they just see it as a trend or some way to make them APPEAR to be a better person?

If you know me you probably know I am obsessed with ANTM and love to watch the Tyra show. I find Tyra Banks to be hilarious in some weird way and also just get so into ANTM. But one thing just bugs the crap out of me about Tyra. Not literally because that would be weird and gross. But she just seems to act as though she knows and understands every thing. She tries to be a psychologist way too often. Come on woman, just because you host a show it doesn't mean you are some god of it. If I could meet her, I gladly would. I am sure she might be down to earth in person but the image she gives off on TV seems to be so self absorbed. If ever there is someone having a hard time, she seems to have to find a moment to mention when SHE went through a hard time just like it/oh so much worse and ignores that they are sad NOW and don't need to hear your sob stories.

As for America's Next Top Model, I want either Lauren, Anya, or Katarzyna to win. Mostly Lauren because well, duh. I can't stand Dominique and I don't like her look. Fatima isn't interesting and she doesn't look unique at all. Whitney bugs me and AGAIN doesn't look any different than a million people I have seen before and I doubt they would let her win anyways (plus size for those non-viewers). I normally don't judge people on their looks (who am I to judge, right?) but you can't hate me for it here, it IS a modeling competition. But then again I bet they will choose someone I don't really care for. What was with last cycle? Saleisha Stowers being the winner? She was so plain and I've seen her a million times before (not HER but people that look like her). And damn why did they have to give her that haircut?

If I was a great artist and was able to live off of it I would DEFINITELY choose artist. I suck at acting/directing and don't have the confidence. Buut it looks like the only realistic thing would be web designer, but I don't know how much of an interest in that I have. Oh gosh, but if you are talking DREAM I would go with artist.

Long Distance Relationships

You may be asking, "WHY IS YOUR VIDEO SO BRIGHT AND WEIRD LOOKING??"

Since I currently can't use my own laptop and it IS more comfortable to sit at a desk I am using my dad's computer. And some reason when my web cam is plugged into my dad's computer, it is impossible to get the colors and contrast to look NORMAL. I tried a million settings and decided to just go with crazy brightness and stuff. When I finally get to use it on my own computer again I will be able to make normal colored videos. Yay!

Speaking of that darn computer

Even though I currently can't use my laptop it doesn't mean I can't personalize it. So I got out paper, markers, and tape and this was the result. The three butterflies were stickers I already had on there but everything else was added today.
I had a mug on the desk in front of the bottom right corner of the computer so I had no idea what time it is. Wow, I should get to bed soon.

Made meself a shirt

So last night I remembered I had to sew a button back onto this one top I had. BUT instead of doing that, I instead got out this huge XL mens shirt my dad gave me (he got it for free and figured I could use it for PJs or crafts or something) and started working on it. I didn't know what I was doing because I've never made a shirt before and didn't look up how to do it... just started doing it.
I am quite proud of my finished result. I mean, it's pretty good for someone who has never done this before and didn't have ANY instruction, right? Oh yeah, and it was sewn completely by hand too. The only part that was already done for me was the hem on the bottom...


This last one was a better picture for showing the bunching up in the front, the only problem is it looked as though I was trying to show off cleavage... >_<
As for the back, it's pretty simple. It has those buttons by the straps on the back too though.

My mom had no idea I did it and when she came home from shopping she asks when I got it. I told her I made it and she thought I was joking at first.


In other "news":
My laptop, though cleared of viruses and trojans (yes, someone shoved some condoms up in it's hard drive), is currently non-usable. The AC adapter had some little crack in it or something and for a while in order to get it to work I would just move it around and twist it until it did. That no longer is an option. I just ordered another one. It's a good thing I at least have my dad's computer. I just wish I could order a new BATTERY (the one I have only lasts 11 minutes, if even that) but those things are "hella" pricey. Dang. If I had over $630 I could easily buy a new laptop (already looked into this) but I don't even have $4. Seriously, yo. Oh well, some day I will get the money.

Hello world. Well the wedding was here and is gone. Jennifer and Johnathan would now be in Disneyland for their honeymoon. Fun stuff.
I bought these sunglasses at the dollar store and think I am cool now. YES, I AM COOL NOW because I spent 1 dolla on eyeball protection. I'm Michael Jackson.
Oh and here are us bridesmaids in our dresses.

Now that all of that is over, it's kind of like a relief. It wasn't my wedding or anything but it was still a little stressful. Jen looked gorgeous and her mom was crying like crazy during the wedding.
The funny thing is, the next day I was hanging out with Lindsay and Amanda and for a second I thought, "Hmm, should we call Jen to see if she can hang out with us?" Haha then I remembered she would be on the road on the way to DL being all married and shit. :)

Bitter? Shmitter...

I have received a few comments from people saying I have gotten bitter.
Sure, I have changed in the last year or two but it's not that I've gotten bitter! I AM a happier person and I AM starting to realize more of who I am and what I want in life (credit for this does NOT go to YT, credit goes to growing up and falling in love, etc.)
Things have always bugged me and just because I mention them or complain about these things openly it doesn't mean I'm any angrier with the world than before. Maybe the world's perception of who BOWIECHICK really is is the thing that is changing. Maybe the world is seeing a little more Melody and a little less of the internet persona.
I am not going to feel bad about this because I know that it isn't me, it is just how these people are viewing me.

On another and perhaps a little more cheerful note:
AMANDA COMES TOMORROW! I am picking her up from the airport tomorrow and then later we are going to Jen's bachelorette party (hen night for those who would be less American than I). Don't worry, it won't be some drunk slutty night like the typical stupid ones you may or may not know of.
I am STILL confused about some details of this wedding. I will probably be confused through out the whole wedding, I'm sure. Oh well, I will just follow my fellow bridesmaids mindlessly and look pretty.

Just like if there is a shooting at a school, you can't say schools are the anti-Christ and should be shut down. IT'S THE PEOPLE THAT ARE CAUSING PROBLEMS AND EVEN IF THEY DIDN'T HAVE ACCESS TO THE INTERNET THEY ARE STILL GOING TO BE JUST AS MORONIC!

2 New Videos

I guess I've had one of those days where I just felt like making videos... so I made two.


Thought of the idea for this video when I was having one of those late night wishes that I had more hours in my day... especially when I'm having a great day with someone like Isaac.


Though it looks like most people caught on, there were some people who have failed to notice my sarcasm. This isn't really ME TALKING. Well it is me, and those words are coming out of my mouth... BUT IT'S A JOKE. I am making fun of the girls (and guys) who constantly stress on you subscribing and commenting as if it's all that matters in life. These females also will sometimes show plenty of cleavage in their quest for subscribers. Sad.

So there you have it. Two new videos in one day.

Youtube is my life?

Over these two years on YouTube I have received countless comments and messages saying that I should get a life and stop spending all of my time on YouTube. They basically assume YouTube is ALL I do. Yet they favorite and rave about some of the more "popular" youtubers. You know, the YTers that end up with 100+ comments within the first 30 minutes of posting a video.
In some ways, I feel they are almost right because I DO spend a lot of time on there...
BUT
These YouTubers they idolize seem to have seriously dropped their old life and are all.about.youtube.
I'm not just making this up, I have come to this conclusion by all of their blogs/myspaces/etc I have seen. It's like all they can talk about is YouTube. All of their friends are other more popular YouTubers. They fly from all over for youtube gatherings and to be in each other's videos.
It's kind of depressing for me to see because YouTube is just a little part of my life and for these people it seems to be all that they have. That would make me feel empty.
Just felt like saying this. Thank you blog readers (if there are any) for listening.

Pregnant man?

I don't understand why this story is such a big deal to so many people and why it's so hard for them to grasp.
A FTM TRANSGENDERED MAN IS PREGNANT.
Meaning:
Someone who was BORN A FEMALE who STILL HAS FEMALE REPRODUCTIVE ORGANS yet has "trans"formed into a male is pregnant. Not hard. Still has the female reproductive organs!
Gosh. I just don't understand why it's such a big deal.
Sure, it looks weird to see someone who appears male to be pregnant...
But once ftm transgendered is thrown in there, it makes perfect sense.
Get over it.
Also, I have seen people that are worried that the T might totally screw up the child.
If you watch the interview on Oprah, he stopped taking it long before pregnancy. I doubt he OR the doctors would be so stupid as to let him keep taking it during this time.

I am a pretty happy person generally, at least lately (even though I am naturally not so happy LOOKING... I blame my face and believe the only time I can look happy is if something makes me laugh... I am also pretty calm so I'm not one of those perky happy people, just happy. Okay, end parentheses...). But right now I am more just content with everything. Not to say anything has brought me DOWN from the happy state, I am just not really on the extreme end of it. I am blabbing now. The end.

Where do you spend most of your time at?
At home. I could lie and say I spend most of my time being all wicked cool at some place with friends but as I said, it would be lying. I am at home most of the time. Whether that means on the computer, sleeping, walking around aimlessly, or whatever... I am just home.

Right now I could go for some horror. Most horror IS cheesy and unoriginal but I still enjoy it immensely. Too bad a lot of my friends seem to dislike it.

Yes I can, if I am given the opportunity. But in my house, I honestly hardly ever COOK things. I am sure I will a whole bunch once I move out.

Well they are all pretty rad to me. I do enjoy playing DDR on my sister's PS2 and they now own rock band so I am very excited to "babysit" and play that (still haven't). OMG OMG OMG! I haven't played on any of the newer systems. Wii's look pretty fun because I'm all for games that involve more than pushing some buttons. I own a DS and think Mario is wicked cool. I sometimes like to go back to my Nintendo 64 and play Mario Kart or something with my nephew.
